Noakes was established in 1979 as a rigging company and now owns and operates leading marine maintenance and repair facilities on the Australian east coast.
Today the wholly Australian owned and operated company encompasses two NSW boat and shipyards in North Sydney and Nelson Bay, as well as the Tasmanian sister yard at The Kermandie on the Port Huon River co-owned by Noakes Group managing director Sean Langman and business partner Christopher Stannard.
From dinghies to tall ships, survey lifts and antifouling to major refits to osmosis repairs and complete paint jobs, Noakes has the experience, facilities and highly skilled professionals to deal with maintenance and repairs on almost any vessel.
Noakes offers a comprehensive maintenance and repair service as well as offering boat owners the option of self organised jobs using external contractors and thirdly, do-it-yourself onsite at any Noakes yard.
The reason for the success and expansion of the company is simple; Noakes is committed to providing the best advice and workmanship to its clientele.
